The outdoor industry companies below are all owned or started by veterans.  If you are a veteran interested in starting your own company in the outdoor industry one of the very first things you should do is participate in a Boots to Business 2 day course offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration.  You can register through your service’s transition assistance office.  If you have already left the service there is a program called Boots to Business Reboot.
